8th Experts Assembly session starts
Tehran, Sept 14, IRNA – The 8th official meeting of the Assembly of Experts started here on Tuesday morning.
The meeting began by recitation of verses of the holy Quran and the opening speech of Chairman of the assembly Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani.
Ayatollah Mohammad-Taqi Mesbah-Yazdi, a member of the 86-member assembly, will then deliver a speech on the cultural issues.
During their two-day meeting, the participant members will attend the Mausoleum of the Founder of the Islamic Republic to renew allegiance with the late Imam Khomeini and they will also meet with the Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei./end
