BRUSSELS HOSTS 11TH MEETING OF AZERBAIJAN-EU COOPERATION COMMITTEE

Baku, September 13 (AzerTAc). The 11th meeting of Azerbaijan-EU Cooperation Committee was held in Brussels on September 10.
The Azerbaijan`s governmental and parliamentary delegation led by Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammadguliyev attended the event.
The discussions focused on a number of questions including fulfillment of Azerbaijan-EU Action Plan as part of the European Neighborhood Policy, Azerbaijan`s stance on the Progress report on the implementation of the plan in 2009, draft association agreement within the Eastern Partnership Program, human rights and democracy, Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, economic, trade and energy cooperation.
A final decision was adopted during the meeting on establishment of Azerbaijan-EU subcommittees on justice, freedom, security, human rights and democracy, employment, social issues, public healthcare, education and youth, culture, information society and audio-visual policy, science and technology.
