Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology has revealed that maximum precipitation was in Khutag-Ondor soum, Bulgan aimag (137.0 mm) in August this year.
Absolute high air temperature stood at +37.0°C in Khovsgol soum, Dornogobi aimag, whereas absolute low air temperature was - 5.0°C in Bayanbulag soum, Bayankhongor aimag. Maximum wind speed reached 24 m/sec in Tsogt soum, Gobi-Altai aimag.
Concentration of nitrogen dioxide exceeded twice around 1st micro district, seven times around West crossroad, eight times around the 32nd Circle; a concentration of sulphur dioxide exceeded one time around the city's Khan-Uul district, two times--around West crossroad and four times around "Kharkhorin market" in the city's Songinokhairkhan district; particulate matter less than 10 micrograms exceeded one time around 13th micro district, four times around the Khan-Uul district, eight times around West crossroad, 11 times around 1st micro district, and 16 times around the "Kharkhorin market" from the maximum allowable concentration of air quality standard in August, 2010.
