Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The national consumer price index in August, 2010, increased 0.7 per cent compared to the previous month, increased 9.0 per cent compared to the end of the previous year and by 11.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
Increase in national index against the previous month was mainly due to a 3.0 percent increase in housing, water, electricity and fuels group and 17.9 increase in education group.
