INSURANCE SECTOR AND HDF
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first eight months of this year, 507.2 thousand people were registered as insurer, of which 198.1 thousand or 39.1 per cent were from public administration institutions and 309.1 thousand or 60.9 per cent from the establishments.
Total amount of pensions allocated from the social insurance fund reached MNT 221.9 billion in the first eight months of this year. Of them, retirement pension accounted for 73.4 per cent, pensions for the disabled--12.7 per cent, breadwinner loss pensions--7.2 per cent, and military pensions--6.7 per cent.
Social welfare pensions and benefits for 55.7 thousand people stood at MNT 16.9 billion increasing 0.9 thousand people or 1.6 per cent. The total amount of the allocated fund went up by MNT 0.3 billion or 1.8 percent against the previous year.
From the beginning of this year, the Human Development Fund (HDF) started allocating MNT 120.0 thousand for every citizen, thus MNT 180.6 billion were given to 2.5 million people.
