YOUTH SPORTS FESTIVAL STARTS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A second China-Mongolia-Russia International Youth Sports festival opened in Hohhot of Inner Mongolia Autogomous Region, China, on September 9.
The three countries children are to compete six days for 51 gold medals in six events--track and field, wresting, boxing, judo, table tennis and archery.
Some 700 children--from Mongolia, Russian Buryatia and from Hohhot, Bugat and Chifen--are taking part in the festival.
Shi Mei, a director of Inner Mongolia Autogomous Region Sports Bureau, says the children will also give cultural performances in order to present national traditions and custom.
