Medvedev denounces blasts in Indian cities as 'barbaric'
Moscow, July 29 (PTI) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev Monday deplored the Bangalore and Ahmadabad terror strikes asunjustifiable 'barbaric' acts.
"I was deeply grieved on receiving the news aboutterrorist acts in Bangalore and Ahmadabad.
"There can be no justification for such barbaric acts of terror. I am confident that inevitable punishment awaits their perpetrators, organisers and executors," Medvedev wrote in his message to President Pratibha Patil and Prime MinisterManmohan Singh.
The Russian president also extended condolences to the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to the injuredof the terror strikes, Kremlin press office said.
