Iranian envoy meets Iraq’s UN special representative
TEHRAN, Sept. 13 (MNA) – Iranian ambassador to Iraq Hassan Danaeefar has conferred with Ad Melkert, the UN secretary general’s special representative for Iraq.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in Iraq, the country’s internal affairs, and the withdrawal of foreign troops.
Danaeefar also held separate talks with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies’ representatives in Iraq and the Russian ambassador to the country.
