LATVIAN EX-PRESIDENT MEETS AZERBAIJANI YOUTH
Baku, September 12 (AzerTAc). Former Latvian President, vice-president of the Reflection Group on the long-term future of the European Union Vaira Vike-Freiberga has met with youth as part of her visit to Azerbaijan.
Mrs. Vike-Freiberga said Azerbaijan was developing at a very raid pace.
The Former Latvian President also praised the Azerbaijani youth` role in boosting the country`s development and preserving and promoting its national and cultural values on the global scale.
“Azerbaijan is the country of youth. And you are very happy that you live in such a beautiful country.”
Mrs. Vike-Freiberga was accompanied by Azerbaijani MP Ganira Pashayeva and Latvian ambassador in Baku Hardijs Baumanis.
