Oil Ministry prepares inclusive oil strategy

SANA'A, Sep. 12 (Saba) - Ministry of
Oil and Minerals has made good progress in the preparation of a comprehensive oil,
gas and
minerals strategy.
Oil and Minerals Minister Amir al-Aydarus said that the strategy is prepared
according to modern bases to cope with petroleum industry in the World.
The World Bank (WB) in cooperation with international expertise firms is taking
part in preparing the strategy, which will regulate the activities of oil, gas and
minerals
sectors, how to utilize reserves and future projects.
He said that the strategy will not be apart from a law regulates such sectors,
which would be reconstructed harmoniously to specify the tasks and responsibilities
of the
ministry's corporations.
