MEMBERS OF AZERBAIJAN-TURKEY ASSOCIATION CONQUER AGRI MOUNTAIN
Baku, September 12 (AzerTAc). Members of the Azerbaijan-Turkey Association (ATA) have climbed the top of the Agri Mountain in Turkey.
The ATA members were part of an 80-man expedition which included alpinists from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Romania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Iran, Macedonia, Bulgaria and Serbia.
The ATA members installed placards reading national leader Heydar Aliyev`s “One nation, two states” and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk`s “Azerbaijan`s joy is our joy, Azerbaijan`s grief is our grief” words on the mountain`s Big Peak (5,137m).
