UN Security Council condemns car bomb attack in Vladikavkaz.
UNITED NATIONS, September 11 (Itar-Tass) -- The UN Security Council
has strongly condemned the car bomb attack in front of the market in North
Ossetia's capital Vladikavkaz, the permanent representative of Turkey at
the United Nations, Ertugrul Apakan, told journalists. Apakan holds the
rotating presidency of the UN SC in September. The Council's members
offered their condolences to the relatives of the dead and injured, as
well as the people and government of Russia, he added.
At the moment the total number of casualties in the terrorist attack
in Vladikavkaz stands at 161. The blast has claimed 17 lives.
