Yemen makes good efforts to encounter al-Qaeda, al-Wazi says

SANA'A, Sep. 09 (Saba)
- Yemen has made good efforts to encounter al-Qaeda, dismantle terrorist cells,
arrest
terrorists and hunting the fugitives, Information Minister Hassan al-Wazi said on
Thursday.
In an interview with Radio Sawa, Al-Wazi said that the achievements in Lawdar
district of Abyan governorate were very important for the security bodies.
Concerning what is called "Movement" in some southern and eastern governorates, the
minister said that the so-called "Southern Issues" are utterly personal or belong
to
some groups and they are being tackled by the government.
However, the "Movement" issues as it is presented by the Joint Meeting Parties
(JMP) will be discussed seriously within the National Dialog, he added.
The dialog is open for all political powers and non-government organizations and no
one is excepted, al-Wazi said.
