OSCE to send special envoy to Kyrgyzstan next week.

ASTANA, September 8 (Itar-Tass) - The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Kazakh
Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev will send his special envoy to
Kyrgyzstan to discuss assistance to the Central Asian republic.
The relevant agreement was reached after a telephone conversation
between Saudabayev and Kyrgyz President Roza Otunbayeva, the Kazakh
Foreign Ministry's press service said on Wednesday.
"The parties agreed to send to Bishkek next week a special envoy of
the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, deputy speaker of the lower house of
Kazakhstan's parliament, Zhanibek Karibzhanov. He together with UN and EU
special envoys Miroslav Jenca and Pierre Morel will hold comprehensive
consultations with the Kyrgyz authorities to discuss the world community's
future assistance to the country," the press service said.
Saudabayev and Otunbayeva also paid attention to the current situation
in Kyrgyzstan and preparation for the parliamentary elections due on
October 10.
The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights will send
its mission of 24 long-term and 300 short-term observers to monitor the
elections.
