FOOT-AND-MOUTH DISEASE: FINANCE MATTERS SOLVED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Wednesday's cabinet meeting tackled a financial matter to combat a foot-and-mouth disease of livestock which has spread in some aimags.
For the time being, a total of 1.6 million heads of livestock in Dornod, Sukhbaatar, Khentii, Dornogobi and Omnogobi aimags have been vaccinated.
The vaccines in the state reserve have been used up. Reports have been delivered from aimags' vet services about infected deers found in Sukhbaatar aimag's Sukhbaatar, Erdenetsagaan, Dornod aimag's Matad and Bulgan soums.
The cabinet issued a resolution to make all possible steps to combat foot-and-mouth disease spread. A Deputy Premier M.Enkhbold has been obliged to start sterilization and disinfection. The Minister of Finance S.Bayartsogt has been allowed to allot money of MNT 140.0 million from the governmental reserved fund for buying a sterilization car and sterilants.
