FM meets with envoys of friends

SANA'A, Sep. 07 (Saba) - Foreign Minister Abu Bakr
al-Qirbi met on Tuesday with ambassadors of States and representatives of
international
organizations members Friends of Yemen Group.
The meeting reviewed the final preparation for the upcoming meeting of Foreign
Ministers of the Friends scheduled to be held at the end of September in New York
as well
as the agenda of the meeting.
It also dealt with the outcomes of the working teams on justice and the rule of law
and economy and governance in Yemen and the country's vision which aims to
strengthen
cooperation with the friends to ensure effective support through a long-term
mechanism within the comprehensive reform agenda .
It, furthermore, stressed the importance that the meeting produces mechanisms
committing the friends to providing aid to Yemen to enable it to overcome major
challenges
and make concrete economic changes.
