PRESIDENT OF DUTCH SENATE ARRIVES IN AZERBAIJAN
Baku, September 7 (AzerTAc). President of the First Chamber (Senate) of the States-General of the Netherlands Rene van der Linden has today arrived in Azerbaijan.
At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport he was welcomed by first Vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ziyafat Asgarov.
The aim of the visit is to discuss how to develop relations between the two countries` parliaments and expand cooperation in various fields.
During the visit, Van der Linden will have a number of meetings with Azeri officials, including chairman of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov.
He will also pay respect to national leader Heydar Aliyev and visit the Alley of Martyrs.
