Iranian chess player wins ZMD-Open championship
Tehran, July 28, IRNA Iranian chess player Ehsan Qaem-Maqami clinched the championship title of ZMD-Open 2008 held recently in Germany.
Scoring nine consecutive wins, Qaem-Maqami, who has got Grand Master, ranked first among 310 chess players from around the world.
Some 23 grand masters and six international masters as well as tenFIDE masters took part in the international event.
