Medvedev thanks Kazakh pres for help in putting out fires.

UST-KAMENOGORSK, September 7 (Itar-Tass) -- President Dmitry Medvedev
has thanked President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan for the help
offered by that country in putting out fires, that hit Russia in the
summer of 2010. The Russian President spoke about it at a meeting of the
7th Forum of Russia-Kazakhstan Inter-Regional Cooperation, which opened
here.
"I would like to express gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for
the assistance rendered to Russia in putting out the fires, in conditions
of the natural calamity that hit Russia. Your assistance was another proof
of the solidarity and fraternal aid, given to us by our friends," Medvedev
said. He reminded as well that Kazakhstan had rendered assistance to
Russian schoolchildren from the distress areas.
