D.BATTULGA PRESENTS ONE-TIME MONEY ALLOWANCE TO VICTIMS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the Memorial Day of Victims of Political Repressions, a one-time allowance have been given to 20 persons--the victims or victims' family members. An order to do so has issued a head of the State Commission on Management and Organization Rehabilitation of Politically Repressed.
A Head of the President's Office and member of this Commission D.Battulga presented this one-time allowance on September 7.
"All of you have overcome black period of the political repressions but the deep wounds have not healed yet," he said. For the time being, 17,376 repressed have been rehabilitated, and compensations of 16,3 billion togrogs have been given, he went on. The Day to commemorate the victims is to be marked September 10, and the guarantee that the history will not repeat itself is the many-party system, he said and wished the gathered all the best.
