NEW DELHI, September 7 (Itar-Tass) - Colonel-General Alexander Zelin,

Tuesday for an official visit to discuss the development of the two
countries' Air Forces.
Upon arrival, the C-in-C told Russian journalists, "The two sides

"One of the main aims of the visit is to understand arrangements for
the operational and combat training of the AF," Zelin said. In this
connection the AF C-in-C pointed out that he would visit the Air Pilots
Training Center and the AF Academy of India. "Air pilots of the Indian AF

also operate air defence systems," he emphasized.
Zelin also said that in talks with India "It is of interest to sound
out its view on joint actions for the future". He recalled that
"Russo-Indian exercises Indra-2010 will be held in India in October, with
