UST-KAMENOGORSK, September 6 (Itar-Tass) -- Minister of Industry and
New Technologies Aset Isekeshev of Kazakhstan has offered Russia to
jointly advance to Asian markets. He said this on Monday at a business
forum which is underway here.
"We hope for your support and are ready to consider any investment and
business initiatives for creating joint ventures to put out products
capable to conquer Asian markets, first of all neighbour markets of China
and India," the minister told Russia's participants in the business forum.
At present, the Map of Kazakhstan's Industrialization includes 237
investment projects worth more than 40 billion dollars. According to the
minister, "it is planned to sign at the forum today over 25 bilateral
agreements on cooperation of Kazakh colleges, scientific enterprises and
business-associations with Russian partners in such spheres as development
of energy-effective technologies, innovation developments in metallurgy,
researches in the field of nuclear and nano technologies."
"I'm sure that these developments will be a firm foundation of our
cooperation in the sphere of high technologies, and today's forum will
become a useful floor of dialogues for business circles of Russia and
Kazakhstan, and will open new horizons of bilateral cooperation,"
Isekeshev said.
