1st Iran-Africa panel discussion to open in Tehran soon

Tehran, Sept 6, IRNA – The first Iran-Africa panel discussion is to be held in Tehran on September 14-15, it was announced here on Monday.
Talking to IRNA, Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehman-Parast added that the move is to help boost the existing relations between the Islamic Republic and the African states.
Both sides have prepared plans and programs to make use of great potentials existing in both Iran and Africa in line with expansion of all-out bilateral cooperation, he reiterated.
Ministers of foreign affairs, industries and mines and health of several African countries as well as representatives from their active economic and investment companies will attend the gathering along with journalists and press officials from the continent.
The gathering will pave the way for presence of Iranian companies in various projects in the African states and will also prepare the ground for presence of African companies in the Islamic Republic, Mehman-Parast noted./end
