Iran to participate in volleyball Central Zone
TEHRAN, Sept. 4 (MNA) -- Iran will take part in the 3rd Asian Senior Men’s Volleyball Championship (Central Zone) which will be held in Kolkata, India.
World no. 18 Iran will participate in the event with its second team.
The tournament will be held in the Netaji Indoor Stadium from September 16 to 20.
Apart from host India, who currently ranks 46th in FIVB, there will also be participation from world no. 25 Kazakhstan and world no. 115 Pakistan.
Iran is scheduled to face Pakistan in its opening match.
