Iran's President stresses active presence of nation in all affairs
Tehran, Sept 4, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Saturday underscored the importance of active participation of the nation in all the country’s affairs.
Addressing a group of exemplary managers of the cooperatives sector, the President reiterated that all the Islamic Republic’s economic, social, cultural and political affairs should be managed through presence of the Iranian people.
He called for further activation of the cooperatives sector in the country.
President Ahmadinejad underlined the importance of administration of justice in the society.
Elsewhere in his speech, the President criticized those who try to downgrade the services rendered by the government in the recent years.
Prior to the President’s speech, Minister of Cooperatives Mohammad Abbasi briefed the audience on the performance of his ministry.
Meanwhile, the President awarded a number of exemplary managers of the cooperatives sector./end
