Pakistani PM condemns attack on Al-Quds rally
Islamabad, Sept 4, IRNA - Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has strongly condemned the bomb blast on a procession of Yom-ul-Quds in Quetta resulting in loss of precious lives and injuries to many including the media personnel.
Police said that the attack in the southwestern Quetta city killed at least six people and injured over 50 but TV channels reported 15 deaths.
Gilani ordered the concerned authorities for holding an immediate enquiry into the sad incident and provided best medical facilities to the injured, the PM office said.
Gilani conveyed his heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies to the members of the bereaved families.
He prayed to Almighty Allah to shower his blessings upon the departed souls and grant strength to the families to bear this immense loss with equanimity./end
