Preparations for Yemeni-Moroccan fishery committee reviewed
SANA'A, July 28 (Saba) - Minister of Fishery Wealth Mohammed Shamlan reviewed here on Sunday with the Moroccan ambassador to Yemen Mohammed al-Shahede the current preparations to hold themeetings of Yemeni-Moroccan Fishery Committee next October.
The talks focused on means of developing the services offered to the fishermen and how to regulate the fishery work as well as how to avail from the promising potentialsin this sector in both countries.
The two officials discussed the possibilities to activate the understandingmemorandums signed between the two countries.
Shamlan affirmed the importance of benefiting from the Moroccan experience in fields of fishing, fisheries management, quality control and marine inspection and exploitationof fishery wealth in general.
For his part, al-Shahede voiced his readiness to exert more efforts to reinforcejoint fishery work between Yemen and Morocco.
