China to give Ukraine USD 1 bln for railway building.

BEIJING, September 3 (Itar-Tass) -- China Development Bank and
Industrial and Commercial Bank of China will give Ukraine a credit of one
billion dollars for the construction of a railway from Kiev to the capital
international airport Borispol with a length of 30 kilometres.
As the newspaper Renmin Ribao wrote on Friday, the total investments
in the construction of the railway will amount to 950 million dollars.
The agreement on the construction of the railway is one of 13
documents which were signed during Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko's
visit to China on Thursday.
During talks which were held here, the sides decided to bring trade
turnover to 10 billion dollars by 2012. According to the Chinese side, in
the first half of 2010 trade turnover between China and Ukraine exceeded
3.3 billon dollars, or increased by over 31 percent in comparison with the
same period of 2009.
