PREMIER CONGRATULATES WAR VETERANS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The 65th anniversary of the historical victory in the Liberation War ran Thursday with Mongolia's Premier S. Batbold's congratulations.
About a historical significance of this victory that put out the last spot of the war, which had brought colossal pain and grieve to humankind and had left black trail in the history of 20th century, the Premier said it was a strengthening of the independence and sovereignty of the state, beating the fascist policy and creating a peace worldwide.
"The resolution on celebrating this unforgettable event was issued by the government, thus we are celebrating it being extremely proud of the war veterans who devoted their lives for Mongolia's independence, sovereignty and flourishing," said the Premier.
Some 24 thousands people had taken part in the Liberation War, now 960 of them are living. They have been awarded a Medal of the 65th anniversary, 163 have received the state prizes, and 60 have been given keys to new apartments.
