T.GANDI MEETS JITCO'S VICE PRESIDENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Social Welfare and Labor T.Gandi received Thursday a delegation headed by Kensuke Tsuzuki, the first vice president of Japan International Training Cooperation Organization (JITCO).
The sides have shared views on a present situation of exporting labor force to Japan from Mongolia, a legal environment in Japan for taking labor force from foreign countries, further cooperation between the Ministry and the JITCO.
The Minister has said their Ministry makes on labour force export in accordance with the exporting and importing labor force and specialists law, cooperates with related foreign and international organizations. The Ministry has given special licenses to 14 organizations and entities for intermediation of labor force, she went on. The Ministry and the intermediators may develop close collaboration in involving Mongolian youths in practical trainings in Japan and improving their skills, providing them with an employment right and proper conditions.
The Minister put forward some proposals to the JITCO to support the Mongolian side in training professionals and workers in Japan, create a data on the Mongolians who are in Japan for trainings and practice, and to grant certificates to Mongolians who have gained certain professions in Japan.
In view of an amendment Japan has made to its immigration law, the sides have agreed to cooperate in re-establishing the bilateral agreement on exchanging labor force pursuant to the laws and rules of the two countries.
