TAEKWONDO MASTERS WIN MEDALS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Mongolian sportsmen won medals in the Youth and Senior Taekwondo World Championships that took place August 21-28 in Minsk, Belarus.
Mongolia was represented by 16 sportsmen headed by K.Seitkhan at the world championships. A taekwondo master and leader of the team K.Seitkhan won a gold medal in the contest of beating heavy objects.
T.Buyannemekh (men's 41 kg for junior division), N.Bayarmonkh (men's 64 kg for senior division) and J.Ganbold (men's shadow fight category) won bronze medals.
For the time being, some 2,000 people have been training in 27 taekwondo clubs in Mongolia.
