CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government Ch.Khurelbaatar introduced the cabinet members to report about a selection of the manager of the Developmental Bank. In conjunction with it, the State Property Committee and the Committee for National Development and Reform were obliged to urgently organize the selection in accordance with the rules.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar spoke about results of the 14th meeting of the Mongolia-Russia inter-governmental commission on cooperation in trade, economics, science and techniques. The results were approved by the cabinet members. Then, the First Deputy Premier N.Altankhuyag was ordered to approve a plan of realizing decisions of the meeting. The cabinet approved results of the 5th meeting of the Mongolia-Bulgaria inter-governmental commission on the cooperation in trade, economics, science and techniques which was held from June 29 through July 1 in Ulaanbaatar. The Minister of Health and head of the inter-governmental commission for Mongolian side S.Lambaa was obliged to approve a plan of implementing decisions of the meeting and to control over them.
The Minister of Foods, Agriculture and Light Industry T.Badamjunai gave a report to the cabinet members on some measures to prevent foot-and-mouth disease of livestock. After discussing the matter, the cabinet decided to issue related resolution reflecting proposals of the Ministers.
The head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government Ch.Khurelbaatar introduced a report on governmental activities done in July 2010.
The cabinet backed in principle a draft proposal of the government to a draft decree of the President on Burkhan Khaldun Mountain. Certain proposals from cabinet members will be submitted to the President.
A resolution was issued on amending a clause of the resolution on establishing veterinary hospitals and breeding rooms in soums.
In addition to it, a governmental resolution was issued on approval of a plan for the “Mongolian livestock” national program.
