YOUNG ATHLETES TO RECEIVE CASH PRIZES


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The cabinet meeting held Wednesday made a decision to grant cash prizes to sportspeople who have shown brilliant successes at the Youth Olympic Games, the World School Chess Championship, and the ISSF World Shooting Championships in junior category, and their coaches.
In accordance with the decision, A.Enkhtuul, a gold medalist of the World School Chess Championship will receive MNT 500 thousand, Ts.Khongorzul, a gold medalist of the ISSF World Shooting Championships--MNT 12 million, B.Battsetseg and G.Erdenebold--MNT 36 million each, and O.Dolgoon, a silver medalist of the YOG--MNT 5 million and 400 thousand.
P.Jigjidsuren, a coach for A.Enkhtuul will get MNT 250 thousand and L.Undralbat, a shooting coach--MNT 6 million. Coaches for the young Olympic champions D.Monkhbayar and Ts.Altantogs will have MNT 18 million each. A judo coach D.Enkhbaatar will be awarded a cash prize of 2 million and 700 thousand.
The Minister of Finance S.Bayartsogt was ordered to allot money of MNT 134 million and 850 thousand from the governmental reserve for financing the prizes.
