G.ZANDANSHATAR MEETS INDIAN DELEGATION OF SECURITY SOUNCIL
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Zandanshatar received Thursday a delegation led by
Mr. H.Upadhyaya, a chairman of the Joint Intelligence Committee Secretariat under the National Security Council of India. The Indian delegation is paying a visit at invitation of Ts.Enkhtuvshin, a Secretary of Mongolia's National Security Council.
Mr. Upadhyaya noted that their side is ready to give technical assistance to the National Security Council of Mongolia with an aim to widen the collaboration between the security and foreign policy organizations of the two countries.
The Minister Zandanshatar underlined an importance of keeping a frequency of high level mutual visits and political talks, and expressed his satisfaction with strengthening of the ties between the National security councils and defense organizations.
G.Zandanshatar mentioned that the two countries have been cooperating in frames of the international community and the United Nations, and stated that Mongolia supports India's effort to become a member of the UN Security Council.
He expressed a willingness to continue the cooperation with the Republic of India in improving skills of Mongolia for participating in the UN peacekeeping operations and in frames of the multilateral cooperation for regional security.
