Possibilities of training language teachers in Yemen discussed
SANA'A, July 28 - (Saba)- Minister of Education Abdul-Salam al-Jawfi heldtalks on Sunday with coordinator of Training Capacity (NPT) Hann Bloom over means of joint educational cooperation between Yemenand the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education (Nuffic).
During the meeting the minister hailed educational cooperation between Yemen and the Netherlands, especially assistance for Basic and Secondary Education Project, and determininga time table for training teachers in the Yemeni governmental universities.
The Dutch coordinator indicated possibilities of coordination between the Ministry of Education and a number of governmental universities to train teachers in science, literature, languages, in addition to setting up languages and sciences laboratories whichachieve qualitative training within the project's program.
