CBY: Monetary reserves of foreign currency increased up to $ 8.2 bln
SANA'A, July 278(Saba)- The Central Bank of Yemen said that the monetary reserves of foreign currency increased up to $ 8.2 billion during first half of 2008 compared $ 7.5 billion in same period of 2007.
The CBY's report shows that curacy offer of the Yemeni banking sector also raised up to YR 1.6 trillion until end of last June, 2008 against YR 1.4 trillion of end of June, 2007.
The budget of the central bank raised up to 1.7 trillion until June of this year compared to YR 1.5 trillion in June of 2007.AH
