KHAN BANK TO FINANCE YOUNG LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Young Leader Program of the Zorig Foundation, which is getting popular among youth, is receiving applications for its 8th enrollment.
Over 20 young people aged 22-25 are selected each year for eight-month program designed to improve communication and analytical skills, critical thinking, project development and implementation skills as well as to foster teamwork spirit. Alumni of this program have already reached 140 and have been employed in various social and economic sectors in managerial positions.
The Khan Bank Foundation, for its fourth consecutive year, decided to sponsor this program, which has contributed to the cultivation of future leaders of Mongolia, for the academic year of 2010-2011, and the parties signed sponsorship agreement.
The Young Leadership Program involves both on-site visits and classroom discussion, which allows the participants to gain insights into social, business and political issues at both local and international level. Most of the sessions are facilitated by experts and professionals from leading domestic and international business entities and agencies.
One component of the program is to implement a socially-oriented project where the participants are divided into teams to develop and implement the project. At the end of the program, the participants present their projects and their results.
