rose 0.23 percent against the previous month, a lower rate than the figure in
the same period of last years.

percent set for 2010.

p.14). A number of new foreign labour export markets have closed their door to
Vietnamese workers soon after opening due to a lack of management measures.

· Foreign investment in road linking the Mekong central area
(Dau tu [Investment], No.104, p.4). The Ministry of Transport has asked the ADB,
Australia and the Republic of Korea to provide capital to build 76 km of
highway linking the central Mekong delta worth 1.2 billion USD.

· Leather and footwear sector to restructure while expanding
market (Dau tu, No.104, p.14). Among top five shoe exporters in the world,
Vietnam ’s leather and footwear industry still depends on imported materials.
