.North Korea's state airline pleased with planes bought from RF.

PYONGYANG, August 31 (Itar-Tass) -- The North Korean state airllne Air
Koryo is quite pleased with the airline it purchased from Russia, a
representative of the Russian Aviastar-SP company told Itar-Tass. The
company services a Tu-204-100B airliner with modernized cabin equipment
the DPRK bought. On March 4, 2010 the plane was dispatched to Pyongyang
from Ulyanovsk-Vostochny airfield. The engines installed on board the
airliner were manufactured by the Perm engine plant.
The Russian company's representative said this is a second Russian
aircraft of the new generation Aviastar-SP delivered to the DPRK, taking
into account the customer's requirements.
The airliners fly on the routes in Russia, China and a number of other
countries. Korean pilots are trained in Russia and speak Russian.
The company's representative said the planes with all-weather
capability represent the best achievements of world civilian aircraft
construction and meet completely the world standards in noise reduction.
They are reliable, economical and easy to operate, he said. So they quite
please the DPRK that has been cooperating with Russia over many decades,
the company's representative said.
