MR. OKADA NAMES HIS HORSE "MONGOL"


Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Foreign Minister of Japan, Katsuya Okada paid a respect and laid a wreath to the memorial of the Japanese troops at Dambadarjaa place in frames of his visit August 31.
Then he met his counterpart G.Zandanshatar to run official negotiations and was received by Ts. Elbegdorj, the President of Mongolia, and by S.Batbold, the Prime Minister of Mongolia, as we informed before.
After these official meetings, the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs visited the "Chingisiin khuree" tourist complex to watch a mini-Nadam during which Mr. Okada received from Zandanshatar a 3-year pedigree brown race horse. Mr. Okada thanked for the present and gave a name "Mongol" to his horse. "Tell me if my 'Mongol' wins at the Naadam festival," he said.
The Foreign Minister of Japan K.Okada expressed with pleasure with visiting Mongolia and meeting with Mongolia's President, Premier and Minister of Foreign affairs. "Main result of my visit is that the two sides have come to the understanding of necessity to transfer full partnership cooperation to the strategic partnership cooperation," Mr. Okada said.
