Bolivia backs Iran's anti-hegemonic policies

Tehran, Aug 31, IRNA – Bolivia’s President Evo Morales expressed Tuesday his support for Iran’s anti-hegemonic policies, saying the West allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran were baseless.
President Morales made the remarks at his joint news conference held in capital city of La Paz with Iran’s visiting Minister of Industries and Mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian.
Morales expressed his appreciation for Iranian resistance against the US and criticized the international communities over the double-standard policies on the world states.
He further said his country will remain beside Iran as before and supported its moves towards the world peace and facing with the unilateral policies.
For his part, Iran’s Mehrabian praised Bolivia’s independent and justice-seeking policies, expressing that Tehran and La Paz enjoyed cordial ties.
Elaborating on the objectives of his visit to Bolivia, Mehrabian said the two sides were willing to implement bilateral industrial and economic agreements of cooperation./end
