Iranian minister in Bolivia for bilateral talks
Tehran, Aug 30, IRNA – Minister of Industries and Mines Ali-Akbar Mehrabian arrived in the city of La Paz, Bolivian capital, early Monday morning to hold bilateral talks with the senior officials of that country.
Mehrabian was welcomed at the airport by Bolivian Minister of Production Antonio Rodriguez.
Speaking upon his arrival, Mehrabian told reporters that Tehran and La Paz enjoyed important and strategic relations.
He added that presidents of the two countries were determined to promote mutual ties so that it would lead to the opening of a new chapter in bilateral cooperation of the two capitals.
While in La Paz, Mehrabian is to meet with President of Bolivia Juan Evo Morales Ayma as well as other officials of the country./end
