Larijani urges Muslims to assist each other in international arena

Tehran, Aug 30, IRNA – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani urged Muslims worldwide to assist each other in the international arena.

Larijani made the remarks in an Iftar ceremony last night held in the parliament in which the speaker hosted children and youngsters financed by the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee.

In his remarks, Larijani turned to the situation of the deprived Palestinian children.

Describing the Holy Qods, as part of the body of Muslim community in the world, he said the situation of Palestinian children and youngsters who are suffering in the Zionist regime's prisons well indicate their innocence and defenselessness.

Terming as “very harsh” the situation of Palestinian children, he said Muslims could help them with adopting mottos and following ideas that would benefit the Palestinian nation and the whole Muslim community at large.

Addressing the children and young people present in the ceremony, he said one major objective and mission of the Islamic system in Iran was to assist and guide them towards a successful life./end
