Iran-Tajikistan ink mining exploration deal
Tehran, Aug 30, IRNA – Iran and Tajikistan signed an agreement to cooperate on mining exploration and joint geological studies in Warzob and Ziddi regions in Tajikistan.
Based on the deal signed by the heads of the Iranian and Tajik geology organizations, Mohamamd Taqi Koreei and Ebrahim Azimov respectively, the two officials agreed to jointly discover new mines as part of the plan to unearth the mining reserves of Tajikistan.
The Tajik party is committed to provide manpower and preliminary data for implementing the exploration projects and make coordination with the relevant institutes to facilitate the work./end
