SG of GCC praises Qatar's efforts to support Yemen's security

SANA'A, Aug.30 (Saba)
- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Abdulrahman Al-Attiyah
praised
on Sunday efforts made by Qatar to support security, stability and unity of Yemen.
He commended the positive results of the Qatari mediation between the Yemeni
government and al-Houthi group, which led to signing an executive timetable for the
implementation
of twenty-two points singed by the Yemeni government and Houthis on June 6, 2010
under the government's six conditions.
Al-Attiyah noted in this regard to the efforts made by the Emir of Qatar Sheikh
Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani to support security, stability and unity of Yemen in
terms of
giving priority to the language of dialogue to resolve problems and disputes ,
especially that the Qatari view links between the political solution and the
reconstruction
and development support.
He said that the Doha meeting results reflect the effectiveness of the Qatari role
and the Gulf keenness to support security, stability of Yemen from one hand , and
on the
other hand prove undoubtedly the success achieved and continues to achieve by the
Qatari diplomacy in this regard.
