70% displaces Saada citizens retuned home, says governor

SANA'A, July 27 (Saba)- Saada governor Hassan Manna said on Saturday that 70 percent of displaced citizens - due to sedition in some regions of the government- returned back to their homes andvillages during few days ago.

In a meeting of field committee of collecting losses, headed by Minister of Local Administration Abdul-Qader Hilal, Manna said that the security and stability are key elements to supply all services to citizens and rebuild villages and houses.

Hilal highlighted announcement of ending war, considering it as brave decision, which reflects concern of the political leadership to preserve bloods and realize stability, security, and peace in the governorate.

The battle of development is like battle of achieving security and stability, he said.

He renewed concern of the government and the political leadership represented by President Ali Abdullah Saleh to fulfill development and reconstruction in the governorate because of damages caused by the war since 2004.

Hilal said that the committee would work until re-operate all service institutions that were stopped due to war, and raise a report about damages and solutions.

Recently, the cabinet formed the committee to evaluate needs of the governorate of Saada and damages caused by the war.AH
