Yemen tightens up security measures along its coastal line

SANA'A, Aug. 29 (Saba) -
A security source revealed on Sunday that Yemen Coast Guard Authority has tighten up
the
security measures along the coastal line to deter any armed Somalis to infiltrate
into Yemen,according to almotamar.net.
The Coast Guard raised the alert level to prevent the infiltration of Somalis who
escape from their country as a result of the ongoing fierce confrontations between
the
government forces and Mujahideen Youth Movement (MYM) during the past days.
The source pointed out that the displacement process of Somali refugees has
recently increased and during the past two days about 500 refugees, who entered
Yemen illegally,
have been arrested and sent to refugees' camps.
The police personnel located along the Yemeni coasts and the Gulf of Aden have
tightened up control and inspection procedures for the ships passing via Yemeni
waters.
