Al-Qaeda said behind Hadramout camp attack
HADRAMOUT, July 27 (Saba) - Governor of the province of Hadramout Salim al-Khanbashi said that al-Qaeda was behind the attackagainst a police station affiliated with the Central Security Forces in the province.
The GPC-run almotamar website quoted al-Khanbashi as saying a specialist team could identify the attack perpetrator whom the initial evidence tell he is an al-Qaeda affiliate. Early on Friday, an explosive-laden car rammed into a camp affiliated with theCentral Security Forces in the eastern province of Hadramout.
Two people, the attacker and a soldier, were killed and eleven other soldiers and six female citizens were injured. The attack caused damages to a number of buildings near to the camp wherethe attack took place.
A committee has been formed to evaluate damages caused tothese buildings.
