TURKEY CONSIDERS USING UNMANNED AIRCRAFTS IN PIPELINES` SECURITY
Baku, August 29 (AzerTAc). Officials of Turkey`s energy and interior ministries are discussing the opportunity of using unmanned aircraft patrols to ensure the security of oil and gas pipelines in the country.
The officials decided to create a special system for security of pipelines and scheduled to discuss the issue with officials of TUBITAK, the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, and TURKSAT, the country`s satellite operator company, as well.
The energy and law-enforcement officials decided to use real-time control system implemented in the security of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan main export route for other pipelines as well.
