Soldier killed, four wounded in ambush in Lahj

SANA'A, Aug.28 (Saba)- A soldier was
killed and four others wounded in an ambush last Friday in the border area between
Baidhaa
and Lahj provinces ,the Defense Ministry-run 26sep.net reported on Saturday.
In a statement to the 26sep.net, director of the security department in al-Hadd
Yafea district, Lahj province, Salah al- Daoudi said that unknown gunmen ambushed a
patrol
of soldiers during their duty in that area and shot at the patrol killing a soldier
and injuring four others.
Al-Daoudi pointed out that a joint security committee was formed from both two
provinces to investigate the incident in cooperation with the social figures and to
detect
the offenders and track them down and arrest them and bring them to justice agencies.
